Exception: access violation (0xc00000005), Address: 0x605d5c18 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. click on mozilla icon 2. 3. Actual Results: boom !!!! Expected Results: start up
can you try running mozilla.exe -ProfileManager or -installer and maybe - console and report back with your findings. Thanks
Also make sure that you've removed c:\winnt\mozregistry.dat (*) if you have a previous Mozilla installation as some older versions of Mozilla don't have a compatible format for this file. (*) or c:\windows\mozregistry.dat for Windows 95/98
removing the previous mozregistry.dat file worked
