Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.1) Gecko/20061204 Firefox/2.0.0.1 Build Identifier: 1.5.0.9 I have been using Thunderbird for at least three years now and I have also made use of having the emails in the Inbox being offline available so that at least I can read them or have access to the attachments even when I am not connected to the mail server. However, recently I stored all my emails on separate disk partition and not anymore in the C:\Documents and Settings\user\Local Settings\Application Data\Thunderbird\Profiles\... In other words I did not use the default email directory anymore but I went into TOOLS\Account Settings\Server Settings\ from the main menu and changed the "local directory" to that new disk partition. Everything works fine except that now the emails in the Inbox are not anymore available when I am offline. I can see all the emails in the Inbox but whenever I click on any email I get an error message saying "Mailserver XYZ is not available" ... Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
It works for me. I moved an IMAP account's local directory from C: to F: and nothing bad happened. Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9pre) Gecko/2008040402 Thunderbird/3.0a1pre
