Mozilla's memory bloat has rapidly become obscene. I have two browser windows

open right now. The first has been open for a while, and has four threads of

50MB each, so the memory use totals an obscene 50MB. The second browser window

has four threads of 29MB each. (Yes, I know that threads share memory.)

It is not unusual for me to see Mozilla having four threads of more than 90MB

each after it has been open for a while, either. As a result of this memory use,

system performance is sluggish, and this is a 500MHz Athlon with 128MB RAM. The

memory cache is set to 3000Kb.

Perhaps there is a major memory leak, or a modification is in order which

routinely takes out the trash.
jburrell@athena.dhis.org this is not a very specific bug. please read the bug
reporting guidelines http://www.mozilla.org/quality/bug-writing-guidelines.html
for more information. You need to be a bit more specific about what is causing
the problem if you expect someone to be able to fix it. check out bug 33390 for
a really good example of how to do this
