I have both personal and outlook address book. Am trying to edit and email address the personal book. When I edit and close t-bird and re-open the address is unchanged. I can't edit or delete it without it coming back. I have not tried other addresses in the personal book but have edited the outlook book.
Thanks for any help, I love t-bird otherwise

I could never fix it so I finally gave up and deleted it and my addresses and started over. I had to find where addresses are stored to do so but I finally did. Then I downloaded a new Thunderbird and started over and it fixed the problem as far as I can tell. It seems to me (and I'm no computer person) that the problem was that the addresses were copied over from Outlook and when I tried to delete one from firefox it would not go to the windows location to delete it there. In retrospect maybe that's the way firefox was designed so as to not change Outlook addresses? --- Thanks for checking. I'll show the problem as fixed, at least for me.
