Quick launch is apparently broken.  We should stop advertising it to users.  I'll attach a patch that does that for the installer.

Attachment: skip the QL dialog

This skips the quicklaunch dialog entirely.  There's another setting (TURBO MODE ENABLED) that seems to just hide the quicklaunch checkbox (with the dialog still shown).  Seems kinda dumb unless there's other useful information in the dialog.

The patch works.

I'm not sure if this is needed if we fix enough of the QL bugs...  I think Neil got 2 with one patch so far.

I'd like to see it go in. Granted, QL is one thing which distinguishes Seamonkey from Firefox. But QL is not a what I would call a great (can't think of a better word choice) productivity tool, nor I think should most people need it to greatly improve their user experience.  And, in the XP world aren't there problems with fast user switch?  (can't think of the bug numbers)

As an install option it's too easy for people to think "this is good" and check it off without understanding the implications.

I think we got enough of quicklaunch fixed to not need this.
