User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; nl; rv:1.8.1.1) Gecko/20061204 Firefox/2.0.0.1 Build Identifier: 2007021303 The litmus-tz tests should mention one has to have the correct OS-patches for the TZ installed and it should mention while entering the events in 0.3.0 the event-viewer shows different times (at least when on dutch locale). Also, bug 363121 should be mentioned along with bug 337191. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. enter events from litmus-tests in 0.3.0 Actual Results: events entered on specific times are shifted one hour in eventviewer. Expected Results: event-times should not have been shifted as litmus claims they don't. As this isn't mentioned the TZ-testing gets very difficult as there's unexpected results during the first part of the test already. This is really confusing....

Clint, any update on this?
(In reply to comment #2) > Clint, any update on this? > Not yet, no. Thanks for the reminder. I'll try to get to this on Monday.
I have added a "starter" timezone test that is always first in the list. It contains the list of items that users need to know before they run the timezone tests. The only other alternative was to repeat that information for every single tiemzone test, and that would make all the individual test cases even longer than they already are. I also took this opportunity to add in some foreign timezone tests for all the various providers. They also are right up at the top of the tests. There are always more tests that need to be created, but I think that this is a big step in the right direction and I think that what remains to be done is to simply create more tests of the type that I have begun. So, I'm going to mark this as FIXED.
