User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; he-IL; rv:1.8.1.2pre) Gecko/20070111 SeaMonkey/1.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; he-IL; rv:1.8.1.2pre) Gecko/20070111 SeaMonkey/1.1 even when using RTL locales, like hebrew and arabic, the about:plugins page has LTR direction. since this page has some localized content in it, this page should get it's direction from the language pack. in seamonkey, this should be from the locale.dir string in global/global.dtd in the language pack. i believe a similar string exists in firefox too. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. install the hebrew version of seamonkey or firefox 2. open about:plugins 3. notice page direction 4. Actual Results: about:plugins page has LTR directionality Expected Results: about:plugins should have the directionality of the locale. notice that the W3C recommends using markup for direction (dir="rtl") and not style (http://www.w3.org/TR/i18n-html-tech-bidi/#ri20030728.094313871), so adding direction: rtl to the relevant css file of the theme is not the way to do it. also, we can't rely on every theme author to make sure this page has the right direction. so far third party authors haven't supported RTL locales at all.
Summary: about:plugins shoud take direction from language pack → about:plugins should take direction from language pack
