More thoughts from feedback conversation: People used to think that bookmark import was totally broken, since the bookmarks go to a dead collection. We "solved" that by showing the folder in the manager after import, but:
a) the user still can't actually get much use out of the bookmarks (which was presumably the point of importing them) until after they are moved, and
b) the user has to understand the manager well enough to do the above.

I think we should try to pull out the bookmark menu and bookmark toolbar from the imported bookmarks (which for most users is probably everything), and put each in the right place. If we don't want to flood their existing bookmarks, we could put a folder in each place with a name like "Safari Bookmarks".

This would also solve the problem that came up in my feedback conversation where the imported Firefox toolbar folder (name: "Bookmarks Toolbar Folder", description: "Add bookmarks to this folder to see them displayed on the Bookmarks Toolbar") was causing some serious confusion.
Yeah, we should definitely try to do something a little cleverer here. Confirming (per irc)

One wrinkle we might have to address is people with millions of Bookmark Bar bookmarks; we'd need to do something to ensure they have a content area visible in the browser window after stuffing all their Bar bookmarks in the Bar ;)

Like putting them in a folder, as suggested in comment 0. :)
