This bug is about tall, especially tall thin, PNGs on linux. (There are plenty of bugs about large images not being displayed, or displaying black). See Bug 321581 "large image crashes firefox" which is about wide images and X11 errors on linux. and Bug 370629 "Large Images rescale to nothing - cannot be displayed" which has the same test case and more information.
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.3a1pre) Gecko/20100125 Minefield/3.7a1pre Works for me, please advise if fault persists with recent Firefox versions.
Very large PNG images do not displayed on Firefox 22.0 (Linux) and Firefox OS Simulator. This is a blocking problem for me, because I can not use pdf.
