"Reload" and "Get/Set Source URI" should be common features
for any dynamic directories. As a first step, I think they should
be moved to the parent interface, nsIRemoteContainer.
We really need at least one more use-case (in-tree, NPOB is fine too) for remote containers to make sure this API is useful.

Hmm, if you don't mind performance things severely, I'll write a JS
XPCOM component for debug builds.

Candidates are 1)XBEL, 2)OPML, 3)HTML 4)IE Favorites, 5)another splite
or something just a bit more complicated than single-column directory
structure like livemark...

Well, this is really the chicken or the egg story though...

BTW, the ultimate purpose of this bug is to reuse the same UI as
livemark such as context menu item
  "Reload Livemark" -> "Reload @SERVICE_NAME@"
, but that will smash the l10n impact directly, so I'm afraid it
might miss the GranParadiso train...
Maybe I should create XPI package...
PI version.

Hmm, IE Favorites was not a good choice, because the users rarely feel like
reloading. This extension works both with and without the patch, and that's
really OK for me. But I feel something wasting time.

Summary: Move some APIs from nsILivemarkService to nsIRemoteContainer → Move some APIs from nsILivemarkService to nsIDynamicContainer
Bug 451915 - move Firefox/Places bugs to Firefox/Bookmarks and History. Remove all bugspam from this move by filtering for the string "places-to-b-and-h".

In Thunderbird 3.0b, you do that as follows:
Tools | Message Filters
Make sure the correct account is selected. Click "New"
Conditions: Body contains places-to-b-and-h
Change the action to "Delete Message".
Select "Manually Run" from the dropdown at the top.
Click OK.

Select the filter in the list, make sure "Inbox" is selected at the bottom, and click "Run Now". This should delete all the bugspam. You can then delete the filter.
