The CC (and probably To) displays don't handle address lists in which some of the addresses include double quotes, e.g.

To: Eyal Rozenberg <[e-mail]>
Cc: Ophir Rozenfeld <[e-mail]>,
	'Graduate Students' <[e-mail]>,
	"'Aaron Gassman ([e-mail])'" <[e-mail]>,
	'Alexandre Tesler' <[e-mail]>

(actually the list is longer, if you're trying to reproduce it and don't succeed I can fill it in.

"Snipped" meaning what?  With the example given, the envelope of the message shows the four CC'd names, with the apostrophes but not with the double-quotes.

Uh, yeah, I forgot to say that. What happens is that I only see the first to addresses in the CC field, there's a comma after the second one, but no third address or anything after it, and the CC doesn't have a [+] box.

Also, I am not always able to reproduce the bug. Sometimes when I view messages which trigger it, they appear fine (always if it's in a separate window); sometimes I the problem manifests.

Ok, it's not the quotes (I think). After modifying the names and addresses for privacy reasons, I see everything that fits within a single line in the 3-pane window; the rest is missing, as is the [+] button. It doesn't happen when I first open mailnews and view this message, only after I switch from it to another message then back again.

These seem to be about the [+]'s behavior when you press or depress it. In this bug you don't touch it.

I don't have a trunk build, but in 1.5.0.9 I don't see this.

No, if there were a similar problem, it would be in TB 2.0 builds.
