Bug 366770 is now fixed, so I was thinking, it seems to me logical that this also would work for the empty extends attribute, not? See testcase, the text should have a green background, if extends="" should point to the first binding in the file. Thanks for having a go at this, Gavin ;)
I don't really understand why this would be useful. Bug 366770 is useful because it means you can use data: URIs to refer to a binding, and avoid having to use an external file, but there's no equivalent benefit for extends (you could just put the binding in the same file). A blank extends attribute is also potentially confusing (what it does really isn't obvious).
