User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.2) Gecko/20070219 Firefox/2.0.0.2 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.2) Gecko/20070219 Firefox/2.0.0.2 When I right click and try to save a graphic, if it's a gif or png file there is no "Save as Type" option. It's just a blank box. There are no drop down options either. If I manually add the extension it will save, but is grainy and non-animated. This problem isn't occurring in IE. I've tried clearing cache, new profile, clean reinstall, etc. Nothing is working to fix it. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Right click on a gif pr png graphic. 2. Chose "Save Image As" 3. That's it. Actual Results: I can not save gif or png files. No *type* listed in the box. Expected Results: It should fill in the extension of the graphic I am saving. I'm using Cylence Theme: Emerald Variation. This error happens in all themes. I tried loading FF in safe mode as well, same thing happened.
WFM using Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.8.1.2) Gecko/2007021917 Firefox/2.0.0.2. I can save gif images, and I get the "Save Image as" choice in the context menu. I am using the FF default theme on Win Vista.

If I manually add the extension it will save, but is grainy > and non-animated. Could you detail on "It's just a blank box. There are no drop down options either." a bit? This is also working for me using the current release [1] on Windows XP SP3... Note that it is expected, at least in my opinion, that the option "Save Image as..." won't be available when the image is used as background, nor if some sort of scripting/event handling disables the context menu. For example, a page [2] which embeds GIF images both as image elements and as background, demonstrates the above: * Triggering the context menu over image elements (buttons "prev", "next") display the "Save Image as..." option; * Buttons "exit" and "list" and the comic canvas *don't* display the option "Save Image as..." option as images are used as background. Please add more information or, if you agree with the above, consider marking this issue "invalid". ;-) [1] Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.9) Gecko/2009040821 Firefox/3.0.9 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) [2] http://home.att.net/~miller.daniel.r/comic1.htm#title
