Installed newest ver of Firefox application for the first time on my Blue Face MAC G4 running OS 10.3.9.  Application would not open on double click of mouse.  In the dock, the Firefox icon "bounces" twice but the application never launches.  I have tried a reinstall, have run software update, there is NO Firewall or anti-virus protection installed or running, I have repaired permissions.  Other browsers launch and connect to the web with out incident.

Unfortunately there are no results...the application will not launch

Expected Results:  
FireFox application did not launch.

bob, is this still an issue with Firefox 2.0.0.4 ? 

If so, can you try to start with a new profile http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_Manager)and/or safe mode (http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_Mode) ?
