The time is rapidly approaching to upgrade reporter.  For the first time in a long time.

For my next trick I will need a sysadmin with super-powers to facilitate this upgrade.  My schedule pretty much requires it be done either on a weekend, or some random time (likely evening EST).  Shouldn't be a long process.  There isn't a whole lot to actually do.

Would you mind posting instructions for the upgrade?  I should be able to do it on a weekend.  Sundays are always pretty slow for me.

I'd like to do a tiny bit more testing, so on track for this month.  I'll give you the heads up the moment I know more.  I'd like to coordinate to be on irc during this process.  Here's the rundown:

1.  Backup
2.  Double check #1
3.  Add a table (product), so that the DB has the same structure.  Then a column to the report table (report_charset).
4.  Double check that's all for #3 (it's a tiny DB structure, so won't take long).
5.  Update php files
6.  Modify config file as needed
7.  Test, test, test

Between 2 and 3, there may be an additional step.  Per conversation with Dave Miller, it may be necessary to dump and reload the DB to get UTF-8 going.  That will be the tricky part.  My guess is even this won't turn out to be a big deal.  We've had it working on dev/stage.  He's got much more knowledge than me on this.  We could of course have a small service window and just take things down later on and get to this.

We should do this either this weekend or next... either in bugzilla or email, let me know your availability so we can move forward.  I'm pretty much weekends ATM, easier on evenings.
