The export only exports to .html files.

Please add palm file format functionality. eg .db or .vcal file format.

I would be REALLY great if palm agenda synchronisation could be added in the (near) future.

Export to html format, iCalendar format and csv format is available in Sunbird 0.3.1. 
Just select the matching file format in the SaveAs dialog. The format dropdown might not be visible by default, e.g. in Ubuntu/Gnome it's hidden unless you expand the dialog using the "browse folders" button.
ok, but the latest palm desktop 4.1.4 doesn't support iCal format v2. Only v1 is supported.
Support for vCalendar 1.0 will be added in bug 242411.
