1. Try deleting your downloas.rdf from your profile folder 2. Use Adobe reader 8.1 Also please always report only ONE problem per report
Thank you for the response.. there is NO"downloads.rdf" file to delete Already have Adobe reader 8.0. ALSO Firefox. 2.006 Problem persists.. exactly as described above. This EXACT SAME problem occurs on my 'work'computer is 10 kilometers away from this one. Suspect this is an Intrinsic Firefox 'bug', either accidental or deliberate by Adobe/Microsoft, as many have told me they also exp[erience this.

How are you downloading these? Rick-click and save as, or just click the link?

There's always a downloads.rdf file to delete (I promise!) http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Unable+to+download+or+save+files Verified
Status: RESOLVED → VERIFIED
Will try further Note: recently added Adobe Pro to my Work Computer and ..Now.. I can read PDF's in Firefox. Still works Much Better (seamlessly) in IE.. Seriously though, now that IE is 'improving' I'm being tempted to switch back... been 'putting up' with this for quite some time.
