The "Restore default" button in Preferences > General doesn't restore the default home page anymore.

Steps to reproduce:
1) Tools>Optons or Edit/Thunderbird > Preferences
2) Enter www.google.com as the start page URL
3) Click "Restore default"

Actual results:
1) I still see Google...

Expected results:
1) I want to see the default Tb start page

Tb build ID: 2.0pre (20070304)

This bug is related to (or even may be a regresion from) bug 370537

My steps to fix this worked on the trunk but don't seem to be working on the branch. Very strange:
