User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1.2) Gecko/20070221 SeaMonkey/1.1.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1.2) Gecko/20070221 SeaMonkey/1.1.1 I just searched my seamonkey history for "documents whose *title* *contains* skins" It found 13 pages whose title contains 'skins' and one extra page. The extra page shows up in the results as: Title: Sunshine Village - Banff Ski Resort, Canada - Banff ski packages, Vacations, Holidays and more. Location: http://www.skibanff.com/conditions/snow_report.php The page's source contains: <title>Sunshine Village - Banff Ski Resort, Canada - Banff ski packages, Vacations, Holidays and more.</title> The page's source doesn't contain the string 'skin' at all. Similarly, when I search for documents whose title contains youtube, I see a bunch of pages from youtube, and a single page which has nothing to do with youtube. It's just a .jpg url: Location: http://www.celebrityvalues.com/images/ellen_degeneres_300.jpg I've tried making a new profile, but can't reproduce the problem immediately. When I asked on IRC's #seamonkey about this, another person reported seeing the same problem: < Ratty> dooglus_: I get 4 hits for skins but the first one doesn't match. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Happens every time, given the correct history database: 1. type control-h to see the history 2. type control-f to see search dialog 3. type 'skins' and hit return to search for 'skins' 4. see page about 'ski' not 'skins' in the results
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; rv:1.9b5pre) Gecko/2008032301 SeaMonkey/2.0a1pre. Returns nothing. Searching in my history other terms returns correct results.
Setting Version to Sm 1.1 according to comment #0 and comment #1. Reporter (Chris Moore), if you don't see this bug anymore in Sm 1.1.9, please resolve it WORKSFORME. Also, is it "session history" (history since you latest started Sm) or "global history" (history over all sessions) which is the problem? They are two separate "components" of the "Core" product.
Version: unspecified → SeaMonkey 1.1 Branch
(1 month later) No reply from reporter. R.Incomplete Reopen if you can reproduce with SeaMonkey v1.1.9.
