User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.10) Gecko/20070216 Firefox/1.5.0.10
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.10) Gecko/20070216 Firefox/1.5.0.10
IE works fine on these pull-down menus, but FireFox messes-up consistently.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. select a product (say mouse pad)
2. click the checkout button
3. pull down the pull-down menu to select one of 20 options
4. FireFox shows 2 1/2 options, IE shows all 20 consistently
Actual Results:
This is a serious issue to me -- because no one with FireFox
can purchase any of my products. Very dissappointed because
I personsonally like FireFox very much.
Expected Results:
obvious to the casual observer
I have screen shots to document and can provide more detail at:
mailto:dfashenpour@houston.rr.com
The problem occurred at my ProStores Website:
http://www.GuppiesGalore.com
Thanks,
Dave

This works for me in Firefox 1.5.0.10, 2 and on current trunk. Can you clear your cookies and cache and see if that fixes things?

Adam,
I have same version and cleared my cookies and BAM!! It works!
Thanks for the feedback. Why? Does everyone with FireFox need
to do that -- should I warn my customers with FireFox???
Thanks again, Dave.

Hrm... something fishy is going on here. ;) I played around with this some and I can reproduce now (using Firefox 2). I could not reproduce using a current trunk build, however.
I'm really not sure what's going on here. The page doesn't appear to be any JavaScript, so maybe it's some sort of cache issue?

This shows the bug for me on the 1.8 branch, but I don't see the bug on trunk, so I think this is fixed somehow.

Ok, this seems to have been fixed on trunk between 2006-12-07 and 2006-12-08, so fixed by the reflow branch landing (bug 300030).
So I think we should close this bug and mark it fixed by bug 300030.
This is just something that won't be fixed on the branch, sorry.

See http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=305281
Trunk builds are built from the code where Firefox3 eventually will be made from.
Branch builds are built from the code where Firefox2 has come from.
