Noticed woth FF2.0.0.2 and 1.5.0.10, that the saved passowrd are not filled anymore: The list of potential users is shown, but passwd remains empty.

That's actually done on purpose for security reasons. You're supposed to choose the username, then the password will be filled out. I can't find back the correct bug right now, I'll do it later today.

(note to self: dupe also bug 361733)

Right, but this is exacty what is not happening anymore....

looks good, but I encountered it also in 1.5

...and for some pages it does not even ask to save the PW, but fills in an old user and PW, entered with a very early version of FF. Shall that be treated as a separate bug?

That's a sign this is a dupe of 371525.
