Earlier http://www.mozilla.org/download.html featured the latest version numbers for Fx and Tb as it still does for SeaMonkey, Camino and Sunbird. Reinstating this feature would be nice in terms of consistency and user-friendliness (quicker overview).

If the removal had to do with 1.5.x and 2.0.x both still being maintained, why not feature both?
Looks like Paul Kim requested this in bug 371755. Might be a WONTFIX.
