With the new modeless event dialog boxes, an event in the calendar view can be double-clicked when it is already open. The "Edit Event" dialog is closed and reopened. The newly-opened dialog is titled "New Event" instead of "Edit Event".

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Double-click an event in the calendar view (not the event list; that's another bug).
2. Leave the "Edit Event" window open and switch back to the main calendar window.
3. Double-click the same event in the calendar view again.
Actual Results:
The event dialog is titled "New Event".

Expected Results:
The event dialog should be titled "Edit Event".
It's a good option to have opportunity to do other things while event dialog is open. But editing the same event shouldn't be allowed IMO...

WFM with latest Lightning/Sunbird 0.7pre and new event dialog. Somebody should test this again.
Martin, you're right, doubleclicking an event in the calendar saves the already openend and edited (but not yet saved) event, closes the dialog and reopens the event. So set to WFM but I don't think the behaviour we have now is the desired behaviour. I think the user should be asked what he wants, revert to the saved event (effectively cancelling the dialog and reopening it) or revert to the open dialog.
Marking WFM per comment#2 and comment#3.

Bas, please file a new bug on the save/revert issue.
