37334 - Unread column should NOT show total unread count of the newsgroup

Mac (2000-04-26-11 M16) mozilla (commercial build broken)
Summary:Parent thread's unread count should NOT show total unread count of the
newsgroup
1. Launch Messenger
2) Select a newsgroup (eg. netscape.public.test) from the news.mozilla.org news
server
3) Sort by thread
4) Notice in the unread column in the thread pane, it shows the correct unread
count of the thread
5). Randomly select a child unread thread..

Actual result: the unread count in each parent thread immediately changes to the
total unread count of the newsgroup. 

Expected result: the parent thread's unread count should be a total of unread
threads for each thread. 

This occurs on all platforms.
