373365 - After screen save, system metrics get screwed up - extra line at top and too wide

This problem has been happening in version 1 and 2.  It has been kind of reported in bug report 338638, but this is different.  Almost always (99%), after my screen saver activates and/or systems has gone into "hibernation", when reactivated, an extra "menu bar" height line appears above the normal menu bar.  In addition, the browser THINKS the screen is wider, and so various pages start having their vertical scroll bars, etc. off screen and inaccessible. After several hours (and several reactivations), the situation is so bad, you can't even see stuff (i.e. my home page is my.yahoo.com.  after a while, the complete right column of info (stock quotes, etc) is so far over, you can't even see it).  This bug only happens on my HP Pavilion laptop (dv5000 series).  It does not happen on my desktop running same version of firefox.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. start up firefox
2. wait for system "hibernation"  (system "power options")
3. reactive system and click on already running firefox

Actual Results:  
1. Extra "menu" bar height horizontal line appears above normal firefox menu
2. Screen has "expanded" (it seems browser thinks it has more horizontal real estate, and does't evern offer horizontal scroll bars to get to it!

Expected Results:  
none of the above symtoms
