Details

Users wants to reinstall downloaded bits (on same machine or different machines) The biggest problem is that they *WILL HAVE TO* go through the download process again to do reinstall. Download can sometime take up to another 4+ hour to do. We need an option to save downloaded bits in the Installer, so users can run installer later without going through download again. The default option is to not save the xpi bits, unless they specifically checks that option. Also, change putting downloaded xpi bits from system TEMP directory to a "install" folder under final destination. As a default, we will clean up that location after we install seamonkey. If the save option is checked, we will leave the xpi bits there available for next use.

fixed. The option is now offered in the Advanced Settings dialog. There is an Advanced Settings button in the last dialog that will show the Advanced Settings dialog.

I put the option in the Advanced Settings dialog *for now* because it made the most sense there. The Advanced Settings dialog currently only has settings that pertain to downloading files: Site Selector, Proxy Settings, and the save installer files option. If there's a better place for the save installer files option, let me know (open new bug please).
