Hi,

I am sorry if am re-reporting the bug. 
Pressing Alt+Home to go to the home page opens two more browsing tabs.
This even happens when the home button is pressed.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.just press the home button 
2.just press alt+home

Actual Results:  
three tabs opened

Expected Results:  
the browser should take the page to home page

You probably have multiple tabs set as your home page.  Does your home page have the '|' character in it?

Mozilla firefox Verison 1.5.0.10
The charactar "|" is not present
If multiple tabs are set as home page then the tabs should also open the home page but..simple blank pages are opening in tabs..

Yes .. I was prompted for a reset of all functions (3 check boxes)
I cheked all them to reset to firefox defaults..but no use

firefox opens by default with three tabs..two untitled and one with the home page

Please reopen this bug if it appears with a recent version of firefox in a new profile.
