User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.8.1.2) Gecko/20070221 SeaMonkey/1.1.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.8.1.2) Gecko/20070221 SeaMonkey/1.1.1 When I upgraded 1.1.1 some of my email message folders were erased and the empty folder was copied so that there would be a folder named 'misc.' and one under it named 'misc.' also. Both folders were empty of contents. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.name a folder placing a period character at the end of the name 2. 3. Actual Results: The folder will be duplicated. Expected Results: The folder will not be duplicated or have its contents erased. I found that only mail message folders with a name that ended in a period had their content erased and then had the empty folder duplicated in the list of folders. I can recover some of the lost contents from another computer, but I don't know where the SeaMonkey email folders reside on my iMac running OS 10.4.8. Can you tell me?
