Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1.2) Gecko/20060601 Firefox/2.0.0.2 (Ubuntu-edgy)
Build Identifier: version 1.5.0.10 (20070306)
When forwarding an email the whole header is included in the email. As in the completed details of the email message and where it was sent from etc. This when the email is set to forward the message as inline.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select an email you wish to forward and click on the forward button
2. The header of the email is then displayed in the email
Forward a message as inline text and not an attachment.
Actual Results:
Email is sent with the header included, this makes the email twice the size it should be.
Expected Results:
No email header in the content of the forwarding email.

Forward inline? or Forward as attachment? Any extensions installed? Forward as attachment forwards the whole message on purpose. Forward inline forwards the To, From, and Subject headers, iirc.
Forward as inline. I have the following extensions installed Advanced Junk Mail Filter, nntpthreads, English (GB) Language Pack and New Mail icon. When I forward a message it adds a table og the complete message header that contains all the information about how it was sent. This includes the ip address of the server the type of server any other account details.
I didn't used to have this problem before switching to 1.5.x, other mail clients do not forward mail in this way.
Any decision on on what will be done with this. When you forward a message in-line you should only be including details of who it was sent 'From' and sent 'To' and the date not the whole header. They do not need to see how it was sent to the main recipient.
I can provide an example if you would like.
This does not happen on Windows. Is this specific to Linux or just something on my machine or even distro.

QA Contact: front-end → message-compose
If this is still a problem, make sure that you have View > Headers > Normal selected when forwarding inline. This setting influences which original headers are included in the message you compose. The brief view, set with the [+] twisty left of the Subject heading, does not have any impact on this and may hide the complete header listing.
I am now using Thunderbird 2.0.0.12 and this is no longer an issue.
Ok, resolving WFM then.
