374007 - input-text auto-complete drop-down list prevent select box from working

when input-text has its auto-complete drop-down list shown
 * it stop select box from being focused
 * it stop text in the current text-box from being selected

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. use input type="text" box, input something, submit, let it record into autocomplete database
2. use input type="text" box again, type something so it pop-up drop-down list for auto completion
3.
 case 1: click on <select> list on the same page
 or case 2: or double click the word in text input
Actual Results:  
case 1. the <select> does not drop-down, but the auto-complete drop-down list is hide and show again
case 2. word in text input is not selected, but the auto-complete drop-down list is hide and show again (same as above)

Expected Results:  
case 1. focus is moved from text box to and select box, and select box show a drop-down list
case 2. the text in the text-box is selected when i double click on it.

This bug was reported on Firefox 2.x or older, which is no longer supported and will not be receiving any more updates. I strongly suggest that you update to Firefox 3.6.3 or later, update your plugins (flash, adobe, etc.), and retest in a new profile. If you still see the issue with the updated Firefox, please post here. Otherwise, please close as RESOLVED > WORKSFORME

No reply, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 3.6.x or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). If you continue to see this issue with the newest firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.
