Right now http://www.mozilla.org/projects/firefox/3.0a2/releasenotes/ has a list titled: "Some of the changes in Gecko 1.9 Alpha 2 will affect the web and platform compatibility of Gran Paradiso Alpha 2:"

The list is both incomplete and confusing to the users. For instance, "The non-standard JavaScript Script object is no longer supported." was interpreted as if we stopped supporting most non-standard objects, breaking web compatibility on at least one Russian news site.

It should instead link to
http://developer.mozilla.org/en/docs/Gecko_1.9_Changes_affecting_websites
http://developer.mozilla.org/en/docs/Firefox_3_for_developers

Granted, those documents list all the changes since 2.0, not just in a particular alpha, but it's much better than what was put into the release notes.
I'll look at fixing this this weekend.

I've committed this change; it should be reflected live within 30 minutes. Now both the release notes and the first run pages forgo the specific list of compatibility changes and instead provides links to the two specified articles.
