I prefer my mail window to show Sender, Subject, Date, but since since updating, it now shows it as Subject, Sender, Date. I can drag and drop the desired fields into the correct order; however, after closing and reopening Thunderbird, it loses my arrangement. I cannot find any fix for this. Thanks for any assistance

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Thunderbird
2. Arrange email window pain as Sender, Subject, Date (Compared with it opening as Subject, Sender, Date)
3. Close Thunderbird
4. Reopen Thunderbird, and it is back to Subject, Sender, Date.
Actual Results:
it keeps reoccuring

Expected Results:
For it to save my desired arrangement/order
Do you have extensions installed? If so, do you see the same problem when you run Thunderbird in Safe Mode (extensions disabled)?
Summary: When moving Sender, Subject, Date, attachments..etc to the order I want, Thunderbird loses the setting upon reopening → When moving columns in 3-Pane (Sender, Subject, Date, etc), Thunderbird loses the setting upon reopening
The only extension installed is the "Talkback" extension for error reporting. I am not sure how to disable that extension or that that extension would be the problem
what theme?
Version: unspecified → 1.5
I was using the default theme. I was never able to fix this problem, and ended up reformatting my computer. With a brand new install, everything works fine.
When(by what version of Thunderbird) did you created your currently using profile?
What value is set in mailnews.ui.threadpane.version?
(See prefs.js content, or see setting via Tools/Option/Advanced/general/Config Editor)

FYI.
Problem when "mailnews.ui.threadpane.version NE 5" is being analyis by Bug 384712.
