User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.8.1.2) Gecko/20070219 Firefox/2.0.0.2 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.8.1.2) Gecko/20070219 Firefox/2.0.0.2 I visit several sites regularly that display improperly when Adblock is enabled. It's been going on for months, through multiple updates of FireFox (right now I'm using 2.0.0.2, but it occurred under 1.5.x, too) and Adblock, but I have now tracked it down to the the preference Remove Ads option. The problem disappears if I click the Hide Ads option instead (or if I disable Adblock) In some cases the entire page display is shifted to the far right; in other cases it is both shifted and jumbled. There are also pages (that appear to me to be similarly designed) that display correctly. In addition, the cursor will fail to position itself properly on the selection bar at the top or the calendar at the bottom - again, not on all pages, but on many. Here are the URLs: http://amazonia.globo.com/ http://paginasdavida.globo.com http://paraisotropical.globo.com/ http://penajaca.globo.com http://oprofeta.globo.com/ Look at the pages for Capítulos, Fique Por Dentro, Personagens, and Bastidores. Some will be ok, some won't. I'm not sure if you consider this a bug (maybe the Remove Ad option is supposed to work this way) but if so, perhaps this will help you track it down. (I'm still having some minor display errors on some of the pages, but they do not appear to be related to Adblck.) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Set Ad Block preference to Remove Ads 2. Go to //http://amazonia.globo.com/Series/Amazonia/0,,8001,00.html 3. You should have to scroll right to see the elements of the page 4. Check Hide Ads in Preferences instead of Remove Ads & reload page. The problem will disappear. 5. Per detailed message, using Remove Ads option, visit the recommended pages to see which display properly & which don't Actual Results: On some pages, whether Firefox is run full or in partial window, when the Remove Ads option of Adblock is checked, you must scroll to the right to see the page elements. Expected Results: do not expect to see page elements shifted to the right or jumbled. Look at the pages for Capítulos, Fique Por Dentro, Personagens, and Bastidores. for the following URLs. Some of the pages will display properly when Remove Ads is clicked; some won't. All will display properly (well there are still some minor display problems on some of the pages that don't seem to be related to AdBlock) if AdBLock is disabled or Hide Ads is checked instead of Remove Ads. Some will be ok, some won't. Here are the URLs: http://amazonia.globo.com/ http://paginasdavida.globo.com http://paraisotropical.globo.com/ http://penajaca.globo.com http://oprofeta.globo.com/
