User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de; rv:1.8.1.3) Gecko/20070309 Firefox/2.0.0.3 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de; rv:1.8.1.3) Gecko/20070309 Firefox/2.0.0.3 Pop up windows like add-on manager, downloads, error console etc. always have to be closed by 'x'ing them out or using ESC. That's not very convenient, as normal users could be confused to do it correctly. I recommend adding explicite buttons to close those pop-ups. Reproducible: Always {I'm suprised not beeing able to find a dupe of this}
Component: Extension/Theme Manager → General
QA Contact: extension.manager → general
Summary: [Recommendation] Close / OK-Button in Add-On- and similar pop-up windows → [Recommendation] Close / OK-Button in windows that don't have one
This was a conscious decision on the part of the developers. I'm going to dupe this to the WONTFIXed bug 233975 which is about the download manager.
