Details
We are getting a lot of support requests (as example "Lost Bookmarks") with common issues in Hendrix. These common issues have solutions and workarounds mentioned on http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/support/
There is currently a link to the General Help Page (http://www.mozilla.org/support/), but we need to add a link to http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/support/ also, to provide fast access and help to people with this common issues.

What is supposed to be the difference between those two pages?
Is there not a URL we can use which automatically chooses the right language version, rather than hard-coding en-US?

There isn't much different in the two pages, but http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/support/ is a bit more updated and has the common issues right at the top.
I think we should just replace the .org link with the .com link and point users to the correct localized versions (if they exist).
I agree that we should not point to the enUS page if other localized versions are available.
This was just an idea I had to improve the user experience. I think the .org page is too cluttered and is not as user friendly as the .org page. And most folks going to hendrix to report something are already having issues... so just want to make things easier for them.

Jay: the .org link gives support for all the different products, whereas the .com link (correctly) mentions only Firefox and Thunderbird. However, Hendrix is used by all the products.
We could have two links - one for Firefox and Thunderbird support, and one for everything else, but it would be rather odd to click the second link and find something which is also Firefox/Thunderbird dominated.
So our options seem to be:
- Stick with the .org link (perhaps tweaking the content a bit to add some of the stuff that's currently on the .com link)
- Have two links, and reduce the emphasis on Firefox and Thunderbird in the .org version
The second of these ideas has the potential to be controversial.
What do you think?

Keep using www.mozilla.org/support/ .
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/support/ should be removed, now that support.mozilla.com is in use, and Thunderbird is moving to mozillamessaging.com. The plan for www.mozilla.org/support/ is to section it by product, with each product having one link to its corresponding support site. (bug 353478)
I think the amount of user support questions on Hendrix is more a result of users not clicking on the support link, rather than not being satisfied with the current link. In other words, I don't think they're using the back button to go back to Hendrix. They just see a big text box.
