Details

On the edit extension page, there are two textareas: Add-on Summary and Add-on Description. It should be mentioned that the two texts appear on the same page. Repeating the summary in the description just makes the page look confusing. See the Firebug extension for an example. Ciao!

The add-on summary field is new in Remora, and is required for all add-ons as it is displayed on the search page. We needed to fill this during migration so filled it with the beginning of the add-on description. It is expected that active developers will edit their add-ons' summaries, and IMHO, we should email all the existing add-on developers when we are sure that the Remora site is live requesting that they update their add-ons' summaries.
