For some reasons the Hebrew Dictionary Addon disappeared from addons.mozilla.org in the last days. 1. Hebrew Firefox Firstrun <http://he.www.mozilla.com/he/firefox/2.0/firstrun> points to the dictionaries page at AMO <https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/browse/type:3> which has no Hebrew dictionary at all. 2. The extension page at AMO can't be found while searching the site, while the extension is still accessible from the FTP <http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/extensions/hebrew_spell-checking_dictionary_from_hspell_/>. The web page still accessible from Google Cache at <https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/3646/>, last crawled 21 Mar 2007. 3. dictionaries.mozdev.org holds an old version, so it is required that AMO will hold the latest installable version.
Thanks for letting me, though there's very little that I can do about it. It seems that something really bad has happened to the addons.mozilla.org database; for example, https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/user/57636 says that I'm a Firefox Add-ons user since March 5, 2007 (google cache has me Last Logged In Monday, October 30, 2006). Hebrew is not the only language missing from the dictionary list. For example, so is the Irish (from which I stole package metadata). I have no idea whom to call, and not even what is the v3 in AMOv3 (was there a recent major change in the addons system?).
You don't have to worry, this bug report hopefully already addressed to the right persons at mozilla.org. There was a software update at addons.mozilla.org (Remora), and it is possible that the extension page will be restored soon. In the meanwhile, it is possible to use the file from the FTP server which I linked in the report.
I'm afraid that this is not a bug of the new system, but an (ill-planned?) feature. Apparently, my addon was demoted into the new "sandbox", and will NOT be visible to casual surfers - only to those logging into addons.mozilla and specifically searching for it. See more on https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/pages/policy I believe this is a bad idea to hide extensions so deep. It would have been understandable if the extension could not be downloaded - but to remove it completely, without telling the user where it can be found is somewhat over-protective and impolite. Anyway, according to the new rules, I "nominated" my addons to become public again. I have no idea if, when and how this will take place. Supposedly, it is expected that users will bother to login and review it beforehence.
I don't know what you are talking about. I can't locate the dictionary in the sandbox, but it is exist in the sandbox dictionaries page <https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/browse/type:3/status:1>.
All dictionaries are now available on the public side: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/browse/type:3

That's nice, thanks. But the direct link https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/3646/ still ends up in the oh-so-undescriptive "Add-on not found!" message, and it does not show on my User Info page https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/user/57636 . I failed to find where a user can comment on it, or where I can read their comments (also old ones).
Dan, I filed bug 375464 to address your new concerns (and CC'd you on it).
