User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.8.1.2) Gecko/20070222 SeaMonkey/1.1.1 Build Identifier: seamonkey-1.5a.en-US nightly build 26-Mar-2007 11:48 after removing the default user profile and install seamonkey nightly build from scrach, the Mail account manager cannot keep the changed port number and the checked SSL option for incoming server setting, which is configured for Gmail. The SMTP server works OK though. I had then do the same with Seamonkey 1.1 and did not experience the same problem that happens to the nightly build. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.remove profile and uninstall semonkey 2.set up mail accounts and server settings (for Gmail) 3.change the port to 995 or click on the SSL checkbox Actual Results: the account manager cannot keep the change value and the port number returns to 110 and SSL check box unchecked Expected Results: the account manager should be able to remember the settings
Can you reproduce with SeaMonkey v1.1.9 ?
Version: unspecified → SeaMonkey 1.1 Branch
I tried to duplicate the issue with Seamonkey NIghtly build released on May 4th and found that the issue no longer existed.
