REPRODUCTION: ============= - Use Thunderbird 2.0 with the latest nightly build - open a mail with a attached *.ics file, created with the export calendar feature RESULT: ======= - Output in the JavaScript Console: Fehler: Unknown imipMethod: null Quelldatei: chrome://lightning/content/imip-bar.js Zeile: 198 EXPECTED RESULT: ================ - No JavaScript Console output REPRODUCIBLE: ============= - always
with Lightning 2007042703, 0.5pre/rc1. When you send an invite, a METHOD=REQUEST is added in the head of the ics. If you export a calendar, manually add this and then sent an email, all events in the ics are added (so multiple events). I think the message-pain which now says "This message contains an event which this version on lightning cannot process" should offer an import of the attatched ics. Setting to enhancement and all versions (not just Trunk).

(In reply to comment #1) > the ics are added (so multiple events). I think the message-pain which now says > "This message contains an event which this version on lightning cannot process" > should offer an import of the attatched ics. Setting to enhancement and all Bas, I think this needs a clean new enh/bug. Since the error in comnent #0 doesn't occur anymore, I am setting this bug to WFM. I think the imip bar shouldn't present any message at all if the attachment is no iTIP message (just a plain ics export). The user could use drag/drop to add/import it to his calendar (see discussion in bug 450653).
