User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.3) Gecko/20070309 Firefox/2.0.0.3 Build Identifier: Firefox/2.0.0.3 & Firefox/2.0.0.2 When logging into hotmail, firefox will not display the page. Sometimes, it will display heading information but all vertically down the left hand side of the page and with zero formatting. I can log into hotmail using Firefox 1.5.0.9 with no problems. If I leave the page to load I get an error report telling me that firefox must shutdown. the 'solution' link suggests that this is a problem with Firefox and there is a newer version to fix the problem. I have updated to 2.0.0.3 to no avail. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled - no change. When I go to Help/Check for Updates I get the following error: AUS: Update XML File Malformed (200) May or may not be related? Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.go to www.hotmail.com 2.log in (have tried multiple log in's) 3.nothing! Actual Results: page fails to load if left for a while, Firefox will shut down and report an error. Expected Results: Web page should load
Does it work in firefox's safemode? - http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_mode Does the error console say anything interesting?
Good News. The spiders in my house seem to have caught this bug. Have NOT been able to reproduce this error today.
Steve, I'm going to resolve this bug as "works for me" since you're no longer seeing it. If you see it again and can reproduce in safe mode or with a new profile, feel free to reopen it. http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_mode http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_Manager
