There should be an option to add a line break in the task view where the due date switches.  This line break could be brilliantly colored with a nice gradient and show the due date: Sunday Apr 1.

I have another request in, ID= 375631 and these two requests are essentially competing.  I must say that 375631 would be a much easier addition.  This would be a nicer, thinner (not so wide) view method and would look nicer, though.  Both would be great additions!

While this sounds like an interesting feature, such a feature would only appeal to a small minority of users and would therefore be better implemented in an extension.
