When trying to add a new preview image for an add-on in the developer control panel, I get the error "That file extension () is not allowed for a preview. Please use one of the following: .png, .jpg, .gif". This happens even though the file extension is .png.
Reproducible: Always

I'm seeing the same problem with all three supported file extensions (.png, .jpg, .gif).

I ran into this also. renaming my image to remove a "-" seemed to fix it.
