I participate in the Minefield daily updates program. When the dialog comes up asking to install, I click the button to proceed. A "Software Update" dialog comes up with a progress meter. The meter hangs at about the 60% point.


Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Invoke Minefield app
2. "Software Update" dialog pops up when new image is available (nightly)
3. Click button on right to install

Actual Results:  
Hangs. 

Workaround: none other than to go to mozilla.org and manually download image.
I did try a clean install but the next nightly update brings on the same symptom.





This smells like an os permissions problem more than a antyhing else.
I ran "fix permissions" to repair any potential problems. Threw in a fsck -f as single-user for grins. No effect.
