Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a4pre) Gecko/20070329 Minefield/3.0a4pre STR: 1. go to http://flashtexteditor.com/ and click "Try Demo" 2. select some text 3. look in edit menu What happens: cut/copy/paste items are disabled Note that the keyboard shortcuts and context menu items work as expected - it's just the main menu items that remain disabled.
I see this with the Adobe plug-in too, so tweaking the summary to reflect that.
Works for me, using Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a4pre) Gecko/20070330 Minefield/3.0a4pre.
I'm pretty sure: 406195 is the same. Just a different operating system, but seeing very similar things.

Still reproducible with: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.4; en-US; rv:1.9b2pre) Gecko/2007120304 Minefield/3.0b2pre Also, to clarify the problem with vBulletin's WYSIWYG editor is a bit different, but most likely the same root cause. The closed bug 40195 has a description of the vBulletin issue. Lots of folks out there using vBulletin forums, going to hurt their experience moving to FF3.
+'ing this but marking as a P5.
Evidently Bug 406195 is not a duplicate of Bug 375887. However Bug 406195 is now resolved. I'm not sure what checkin fixed this though, but with vBulletin at least the Cut/Copy problem in the WYSIWYG editor is now gone. I'll update Bug 406195 as well in case it pops up again. I still have issues with the original Bug 375887 website though, http://www.flashtexteditor.com/ ... though I can COPY text now, just can't CUT or PASTE it.
