This is Mike's idea, but filing for him. Also filing as NEW.

We should have a "starred" collection in our bookmarks manager similar to Gmail and other Google apps. Additionally, this bug includes adding at the very least, a shortcut key to star a page, but ideally includes some sort of UI for starring bookmarks. See also, Flock's star next to their location bar.
Would this be the same as the 'Unfiled Bookmarks' folder that is now present?
There is no "Unfiled Bookmarks" folder in Camino, so I'm not sure how to answer that.
Ahh sorry, I didn't read what product this was filed under...I was thinking is was under Firefox in where "places" has star feature.  Sorry for the bugspam.
This bug has been buried in the graveyard and has not been updated in over 5 years. It is probably safe to assume that it will never be fixed, so resolving as WONTFIX.
