There doesn't seem to be a mechanism to browse and add to Sidebar existing IMAP
folders on your IMAP server. 'New Folder' specifying a folder that already
exists on the server yields an "Unable to create folder: file exists" error,
which is good, but there's no way to -open- said folder.
IMAP server used is:
Connected to weathership.internal.homeport.org.
Escape character is '^]'.
* OK weathership.homeport.org IMAP4rev1 v11.237 server ready

Are you talking about a Subscribe dialog to subscribe to IMAP folders?

1)It seems that you are using UW IMAP server, I am wondering to know whethere
this is duplicate of bug#36255? Can you take a look for that bug? Also would you
please provide more clear steps to reproduce this problem?
2)If this is not dup of bug#36255, can you setup IMAP protocol log, so we can
get a clue from that IMAP log?
* You can setup following from your autoexec.bat file:
Set NSPR_LOG_MODULES=IMAP:5
Set NSPR_LOG_FILE=c:\tmp\[filename]
* After you generate that IMAP protocol log, please attach here. Thanks.

From shevett's email, it seems this is not subscribe problem...changing the
component to Networking-IMAP. Reassign to Jeff and copy/paste shevett's email
here:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Perhaps restating the problem is in order.
I have IMAP folders on my imap server. In 'pine' I can browse them just
fine. In Mozilla, there seems to be no mechanism for opening an IMAP
folder on an IMAP server that is -not- an INBOX.
Example: I have 'saved messages' on my IMAP server (i've used it via
pine). I'd like to have that folder on my folder pane. There seems to be
no mechanism in Mozilla Mail to do this. The 'subscribe' dialog box you
mention is only for newsgroups (or gives every indication is only for
newsgroups. Is there something else I can do with it?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
shevett, again.... can you setup IMAP protocol log, so we can
get a clue from that IMAP log?
* You can setup following from your autoexec.bat file:
Set NSPR_LOG_MODULES=IMAP:5
Set NSPR_LOG_FILE=c:\tmp\[filename]
* After you generate that IMAP protocol log, please attach here. Thanks.

Also, can I know which build are you using since I know that Jeff just fixed
some major problems for UW IMAP server directory...can you provide the build
info & try again on the latest build again?

shevett's problem sounds badly like "there is no subscribe dialog for IMAP" to
me. shevett, in recent builds, we have a half-way (!) working subscribe dialog
(which supports IMAP). Is it that, what you meant?
