Seen using the Tbird 2 candidate build. If I pull the "Tags" menu from the dropdown, it doesn't show the colors (red for important, etc). I have been told by seths and josh that the mac menu can't handle the colors, but in 10.5 it should be able to, so that is why i am filing this bug. For consistency, it would great to be able to have the color show in all three places->from the menu, from the icon dropdown, and when you context click on a message to expose the tags menu.

Summary: Make Tag Menus shows in Color in 10.5. → [10.5] Make tag menus show colors
Version: 2.0 → Trunk
does this require some back end wizardry from widgets? (I'm not finding a comparable bug there)
I'm on 10.5 and my Tag menu does have colors. Marcia, is this WFM?
I'm using a Thunderbird 3.0a1 nightly on OS X 10.5.2 and although I have colors in the drop-down for the "Tags" button on the toolbar, I do not have colors in the "Message" menu's "Tag" sub-menu (accessed from the menu bar). Joey, please confirm that you are talking about the "Tag" menu under "Message" from the menu bar.
My colors went away it seems... or I just dreamed them. :-(
