User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9a4pre) Gecko/20070403 Minefield/3.0a4pre Firefox Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9a4pre) Gecko/20070403 Minefield/3.0a4pre Firefox Add enough bookmarks to force the 'overflow' of the bookmarks toolbar. On the right side should see >> indicating more bookmarks. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Use a Bookmarks + Places build 2. Add enough bookmarks to cause the bar to fill to overflow 3. Note that the chevrons' >> are not there 4. You can make the chevron appear by double-click the title bar to shrink the window, then double-click again to fully maximize the window and the >> appears. Actual Results: Missing Chevrons >> indicating more bookmarks. Expected Results: Should see chevrons >> on bookmarks bar overflow..

WORKSFORME using Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9a4pre) Gecko/20070416 Minefield/3.0a4pre. (That's Windows Vista Home Premium, for the record.) Can you reproduce this with the latest trunk nightly and a new profile? http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_Manager
I update to a new nightly every day, and sometimes to an hourly several times a day, and the issue remains with the Bookmarks Bar extending off the right-side with no chevrons >> showing. Shrinking the window and re-maximizing the window will restore the chevrons for awhile, then they disappear again. It seems to be related perhaps to the number of tabs I have, though I have no idea how that change things unless the window itself is resizing in an odd way that I have not noticed visually. I normally have 15-16 tabs open at any given time, and sometimes it seems when I exceed that, but opening a couple more, then closing them, is when the issue arises with the chevrons going missing and the bookmarks extending off the right-side. Same in Safe-mode, and with a new profile. Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9a4pre) Gecko/20070426 Minefield/3.0a4pre Firefox ID:2007042607 [cairo][places experimental]

Bug 451915 - move Firefox/Places bugs to Firefox/Bookmarks and History. Remove all bugspam from this move by filtering for the string "places-to-b-and-h". In Thunderbird 3.0b, you do that as follows: Tools | Message Filters Make sure the correct account is selected. Click "New" Conditions: Body contains places-to-b-and-h Change the action to "Delete Message". Select "Manually Run" from the dropdown at the top. Click OK. Select the filter in the list, make sure "Inbox" is selected at the bottom, and click "Run Now". This should delete all the bugspam. You can then delete the filter. Gerv
