Bug 368738 seems possibly stalled, so I am filing this new, simpler variation on that request.

By default, Firefox 2 spell checks text typed into HTML TEXTAREAs, but not into single-line input boxes. Please also spell-check all input boxes with a name, id, or title attribute containing the word "Search".

IMO this will work on most websites. I did a quick survey of Google, Yahoo, and Wikipedia, and all use well-labeled inputboxes. So all would be spellchecked.

Reproducible: Always
