User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1.3) Gecko/20061201 Firefox/2.0.0.3 (Ubuntu-feisty) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1.3) Gecko/20061201 Firefox/2.0.0.3 (Ubuntu-feisty) After changing the display dimensions using XRandR, the display dimensions from Firefox startup are still used for placing menus, causing them to show up off-screen or needlessly small/relocated. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Change screen dimensions using XRandR 2. Pop up a menu near the old or new screen edge Actual Results: Menu placement should respect new screen dimensions Expected Results: Menus are placed according to the old screen dimensions

This sounds like a dupe of bug 256646, which was fixed on trunk. Dagfinn, can you try this in a trunk build and see if you can still reproduce it? http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/latest-trunk/
